For years I have been putting up with an intercom that was unreliable. Due to the bad positioning of the unit whenever someone rang my doorbell, I could still not tell who was at the door. When we considered changing the unit, the expensive pricing of the units and the high labour charges we were faced with by installers were just not worth it.

When Technologix gave us their quote for the unit, which had a wide angle lens to capture more of the picture, and also their installation, we could not believe it. I would finally be able to get a proper unit without being ripped off.

I have been breeding birds for more that 10 years now. Birds are my passion. I breed all sort of parakeets, cross finches, and parrots.

Recently whilst at work I had a break-in into my back garden and most of my bird collection was stolen or set free. To this day all I know is that I lost them forever. Apart from being of value in terms of money, these birds where my life, my relaxation, and my pride. This trauma left me feeling vulnerable and prone to it happening again.

I started over from scratch, but with a difference this time. I wanted to make sure that all my new birds will be safe.

Matthew from Technologix came over the following day at a time that suited me, we discussed the matter over and he identified points of possibile entry and came up with good ideas of what we could do, which I had never thought of. He suggested that I need a CCTV Surveillance system in place for several reasons, to deter, to have a recording of every person that I show my collection to, and to have a recording as evidence just in case someone tries to break-in again.

A couple of days after I had a system up and running. It covered every possible vulnerable angle of my back yard clearly.  Matthew prepared some simple guidelines on how to operate the system and made sure that I was competent and able to navigate through all the functions on my own.

Now everytime I am away from home, on holidays, at work.... I've got peace of mind....I can even have a look over the internet and see that everything is OK!
